Do you sponsor visas or offer relocation?

We primarily hire within East Africa. For exceptional candidates, we can discuss relocation support to Kampala on a case-by-case basis.

What's the salary range for these roles?

We offer competitive, market-rate compensation based on experience and location. Ranges are discussed during the first interview. All roles include equity options.

How soon after applying will I hear back?

We review applications weekly. You'll hear back within 5 business days, even if it's a no.

Can I work 100% remotely?

Yes! Most roles are remote-first. Some require occasional travel to Kampala for team offsites (quarterly).

Do you hire interns or entry-level roles?

Occasionally. We prefer candidates with 2+ years experience, but strong portfolios or open-source contributions can substitute. Reach out to jobs@chanak.ac with your work.
